Happy New Year, Selamat Tahun Baru!!
Tahun baru, azam baru, semangat baru and for those yg dapat kerja ditempat baru, all the best. May all of us excel in year 2013.
Sebenarnya, I didn't plan to go anywhere today. Actually, I've declined one dinner invitation tonite, reason being, besok keje and the dinner ends quite late. Jauh ler pulok venue dinner tu kat Sime Darby Convention Centre...mata gue malam memang rabun, orang bilang spesis rabun ayam ler gue nie.
So pagi nie, bila bangun dan on the lappie, ada ler comment2 kat status update last nite. And somehow ter"plan" lar pulok New Year Brunch dengan officemate, since we are free during the day. Lepas dah bertukar2 posting, terus decided that the Brunch be held in Shah Alam.....seksyen 8 to be more specific.
Maka pada jam 10:30 pagi, dah terpacak ler kitaorg kat lokasi. Nama tempat nie, Restoran Soto. I've been introduced to this restaurant by one of my buddies, Neena. Dia kata kedai nie dah ada sejak zaman dia bersekolah lagi. Kiranya dia membesar dengan juadah di restoran nie ler.
When we arrived, restoran nie ramai orang. Bear in mind, restoran nie aje occupy 4 kedai yer, next to each other. So, one could imagine the no. of customers yang datang on daily basis kat sini. Sidekick aku merangkap personal photographer aku nie, baru first time menjejakkan kaki di sini. Amek ko, terkejut besau dia menengok the juadah spread...sampai dia tanya kat aku "aku nak makan apa nie??? banyak nyeeee hidangan". Itulah penangan Restoran Soto yek.

Dah pusing 2-3 kali along the buffet line, finely baru boleh decide apa nak makan. Payah nak buat decision kat sini sebab semuanya nampak sedap dan secara tiba2 aje selera kita akan berubah tau....so, be careful.....kena tabahkan diri ler sikit.....hehehe
Kitaorg finally decided for nasi kerabu and nasi dagang. As dessert, kitaorg amek pengat pisang and a few pieces of malay kuih.

Overall, the food here is tasty and harganya berpatutan. Tapi tu lah kan, bila banyak choice, mata jadi rabun nak memilih. Personally, aku suka depa punya "sambal tempoyak daun kayu" and ikan kering goreng with bawang and cili padi. Kalau dapat 2 lauk tu, to be eaten with nasi panas, memang cukup dah bagi aku.
Restoran nie pun ada menyediakan juadah sampingan seperti roti canai, mee/mee hoon soto, mee/mee hoon kari, dan laksam. For lunch, ada juga disediakan ikan bakar. Pendek kata, apa yang kita terpikir nak makan, mostly ada diaorg jual on daily basis.
